My blog is a collection of my work at various stages, across different curriculum areas. Throughout my time at Paparore School I may share draft copies of my work for feedback and feedforward. Other times I will share my final published pieces.

The Minstrel show
On Monday the 9th of September we had the Minstrel and Mrs Minstrel come to our school and did a performance. It was called Hiwi the kiwi. The Minstrel told us funny stories. The Minstrel told us how to be safe on a boat. Before you go on a boat you should put a life Jacket on. I learnt that SOS stands for save our seabirds. Don’t throw and pieces of plastic out of the boat because the birds will think it is food and will die. We did kanikani while the Minstrel was playing the guitar. Mikayla and Bobby got up to help the Minstrel. You should put a sinker on your fishing rod so the birds don’t get the bait. When you are on a boat and you catch a fish you put it on a wet towel. Another lesson I learnt was that you should put the big fish back so it can have a baby fish.
