My Speech:

WALT: We are learning to write a persuasive Speech. 

Covid 19 lock down  Intro: 1.Hello my name is Shikayla. I am a year five and I am in Te Puawai. I will be talking about lock down.

2.During covid 19 lock down my dad brought me, him, my baby brother and my mum two motorbikes. He brought them off his cousin. We got an orange motorbike and one that is Turquoise.

3.My dad borrowed their truck to take the motorbikes to our house and then when he was finished he dropped the truck off and then picked up our car and came back home. When the motorbikes were placed where my dad put them he took me and my baby brother for a ride. We went to the back of the houses and up the top we went.

4.  Where we made tracks there are blackberry plants on the side of them and at the end of the year when all of mine and my baby brothers cousins and siblings come up we pick from them. We take a plastic clear bottle or a yogurt container. 5. At night time we always watch the news to find out more about Covid 19 and the weather. It was the second week of lockdown so my nan called Mary came to my house to visit us and see how we were.   6.She said that her and my papa Bob were missing me and my baby brother. We had a month of lockdown which was a little bit boring but most of it fun because I was taught how to ride the turquoise motorbike which was really cool and fun because I got to ride the bike when my dad asked me if I wanted to ride it and I would of said yes or no.

7. Everytime my nan would come over she would of brung some of my stuff to me that I wanted to use and she dropped off four packets of bubble Gum, Razzoo chewy lollies and soft lollies that my dad always eats becausehe loves them. My dad would have eaten a whole packet.  It was Tuesday so we all got up and my mum made  us some breakfast.

8.We had freshly made Toast, cheesy sausages and bacon. When we had finished eating our breakfast me and my baby brother got changed out of our Pijamas and went outside. It was a really sunny day but a little bit windy.  9. The horse was rolling around in the long grass and me and my baby brother were laughing at him. We yelled out to him and then he got back up and then came to the fence. My dad gave us two carrots to feed the horse because he was not leaving so my baby brother and I dropped the carrots in front of him, patted him and left.

10. Me and my baby brother went back by the cabin and it was time for lunch. My mum made us some Hot chips and hot dogs with sauce.  We had two hot dogs cut up on a plate and there were four pieces on the plate, then my mum gave us a big scoop of hot chips.  11.When we were finished eating we went back outside. We saw the goat and fed him two pieces of bread, patted him and then we left. We went back down by my mum and dad, then we got cookies and cream ice cream on a cone.

12. When we were finished eating our ice cream we watched a movie. It was called Sheep Wolves: The pig deal. When the movie was finished my baby brother fell asleep so I drawed. I pulled my markers out of my bag and then got my blank white paper and started to draw. 13.I drawed a sunset with a tree reflecting in the sun and a mountain on the other side of the water. The picture took nearly ten minutes to draw and color in. When the picture was finished it was looking pretty cool.

14. Well this is the last of it. I hope you have enjoyed my presentation about lockdown. It is true that we have to keep ourselves safe and healthy.
